Vent

okay time to vent.... So I am leaving Jaylee for the first time all weekend, I haven't ever been away over night. Obviously this is a trip that is way over due, but nothing is going right!!! I just want it to be easy and I keep thinking that by me leaving her I am letting her down in some bizarre way, I know it sounds dumb.(remember I am prego and my emotions are crazy) First off I think Jaylee is getting sick, which makes me feel worse, then I went to take a shower and there is no hot water, freak of nature, and if any of you know me I always need to shave my legs it is impossible to keep hair off them. and then my favorite outfit was laying out on the dresser and is mysteriously all wet with what I am still not sure. Why, why does stuff like this always happen? Sorry to all of you who just wasted time by reading this but it is a good outlet to vent, whether anyone cares or not!!!

Halloween Party

We had a little party at Aubs house and it turned out so good!!!! It was super festive we ate mummy dogs, grave yard gravel, fingers and drank witches brew! All the kids looked so cute! Even the moms, we had a Dorthy and Tinker Bell and I was well we aren't sure....white trash? rock star? The true winner of Bret Micheals Rock of Love!! We tried to play games but the kids mainly loved running around like crazy chickens. Like always it was impossible to get an even semi good picture of Jaylee...partly b/c I just don't have the energy to try anymore. It was amazing that I made it out of the house! Thanks Aubree for having it at your house!!!! And working so hard on all the party favors they were so cute and Jaylee loves them!

Wow

So I have been so out of it!!! I can't believe I haven't even posted what I am having!!! It's a BOY! We are really excited b/c he looks really healthy and is actually bigger than average. We are probably going to name him Taylor, well that is what Mark and Jaylee already call him. That is pretty much it, I am not sure when I am going to feel good again so these next couple post may be the last for awhile.

Girls Night

Okay I love these girls... I have seriously been so blessed to have such wonderful friends!! And of course it is so fun to leave the kids home with the guys and have quality girl time!!

Daddy

So today while Mark was getting dresssed Jaylee looked up at him and said "oh, pretty shirt daddy!" At moments like those I really realize that she isn't my baby anymore:) It makes me sad but I am so glad that she has such a cute freakin personality. Oh and there won't be pictures for a while b/c I busted my lens.....so that sucks.

HoW cUtE!!!

Okay so Jaylee was freaking out, having quite the melt down. So I asked her to use her words and she said "I want to talk to Heavenly Father!!!!" So of course we said a prayer and then everything was fine, no more meltdown! I just thought that was so cute, it amazes me the things that she says!

Camping Fun

We went camping this weekend with almost all of Mark's family and Jaylee had such a good time. She got loaded up on marshmallows and I think that's pretty much it. Her & Chase were so funny together too!!! They would fight and then love on each other!! Oh and of course she was all over her two baby cousins! She kept taking them there binkies and toys, thanks Jess and Tamara for being so patient. I guess I have quite the little helper on my hands! It was so fun to have almost all of the kids all together!!! Oh and Mark and I had a blast the last day, it was super rainy and we took the 4wheelers out and found a sweet trail the had all these jumps made up but they had turned into to mud so we got all muddy and rode them out it was super fun!

Picture (almost) Perfect

Well I almost got her to look at the camera.... I swear the minute the camera goes up she ventures off into her own little world and I am no part of it. But all in all she is still freakin cute so I had to show her off!

Wrestle Time

This is Jaylee's favorite part of the day!!! She waits for daddy to come home and then they wrestle.... and whenever daddy gets worn out Jaylee screams for more!!! It is so cute because she will run up to him and say "wrestle" and then run away for Mark to go catch her! I seriously love her so much and just think everything she does is funny!

Oh Yeah

I have a confession....I had way more fun at chuck e cheese than I think the kids did!! The thought of all the nasty germs and the gross salad bar was a down fall but all in all it was fun to let go and have fun!!! I did beat Mark in basketball so that was an accomplishment...and I am sure that I never figured out dance dance revolution but I made up my own way!! IT wouldn't had been as much fun if I wouldn't had, had such great friends to go with...Oh I know there are no pics of the kids but they were there!

Dolphins!!!!

So slowly but surely I am catching up from all of our trips!!! We got home a week ago and then jaylee got the flu and then mark got it. So it has been....eventful to say the least. Here are some pictures from our trip to Sea World... There were a few times that I thought for sure Jaylee was going to maneuver out of my grip and jump in with the dolphins!!! This was such a neat experience for her...she still talks about feeding the "whales" and asks to go back! We are so blessed to be able to do all of this fun stuff. Seriously I love, no I am obsessed with Sea World growing up I went like once a week and when I wasn't there I would write the human resource dept to find out what I needed to do to become a whale trainer, pretty much on a weekly basis. I was able to get in with the dolphins once, a few years ago, and pet them and give them some commands so that was my childhood dream come true!

Finally

Jaylee turned two on August 18, 2007! It amazes me how fast she is grown into a little girl. For those of you who we aren't able to see as often as we want here is a little about our little Jay. She is able to put together 4 and 5 word sentences, look at letters of the alphabet and tell you what they are, sing songs, really she is so smart I can't even list all the things that she does. We are so proud of her. She is also a little social butterfly she loves to be the center of attention! A few of her favorite things are Lola ( her bunny), Macy ( her baby), any kind of trucks, purses ( I usually find the trucks in the purses), and her book about trucks! Oh, and I can't forget her favorite movie is Cars, really it is the only movie she will even watch. To sum it up everything she does is higher or faster she is really going to be a daredevil!

Cocoa Beach

Wow it was only a few weeks before this that we were on Malibu Beach....can you say spoiled! The water was unusually warm, like bath water so we all got in and stayed in for pretty much 5 hours. We got Jaylee a little tube to put around her waist and floaters on her arms so she was set! She didn't want you to touch her floats at all....which was kind of scary when the huge waves came crashing in but like a little fish she just rode the waves out! I can't believe the lack of fear that Jaylee has for the water. Well when the time was up we literally had to drag Jaylee out of the water!

Well to keep ya'll up to date one of Jaylee's favorite things are trucks!!! That's my girl! So she got her dream come true when the fireman let her get in the fire truck! Then we asked her what a fire truck says and she said weeeho weeho. It was hysterical. Here's another funny story. So we were reading a book about construction trucks and I pointed to one and asked her "what's that?" and she looked at it and then look up at me and said "excavator". I had to look at the book because I didn't even know that!!! Come on how many of ya'll no what an excavator is? Anyways I am way behind on all my pictures from my trips so I guess that I have given up on scrapbooking for awhile!!! But here are some pictures from our trip back to Iowa for the fair!!! We had a total blast. It was really good to be home.

Moo

Well the best part of the fair was walking through all the animals listening to Jaylee make the animal noises! The cows were her favorite! This is where we spent most of ours days because it was all that she wanted to do and if any of you know Jay she gets pretty much what she wants! Especially of grandpa had anything to do with it!

Baby Goat

This little guy was only a day old!!! Jaylee loved petting him!!! He was so freakin cute that it made me want to have a farm!

Auntie

Here is my cute sister!!! Thanks to her Jaylee went on a ton of rides!!!

Carousel

This was Jaylee's favorite ride at the fair.....every time we walked by it she had to ride it!! So what do you do when your riden a horse chasen a zebra and gettin chased by a lion?.......you get your drunk a** off the carousel. Okay I seriously thought that was to funny not to share. Funnel Cakes 8 dollars.... Endless carousel rides 15 dollars.... Jaylee's face priceless!!!!! Okay that was dumb but hopefully you at least can laugh at it or me, which ever!

Josh Turner

So I don't even like country but this guys voice was amazing!!!! He just sounded awesome!!! Although I don't like country I have been to several country concerts and they are by far the best entertainers and usually sound better in person!

Slacker

So it's been a busy couple of weeks!!! We got home from Iowa on Wednesday in enough time to do laundry and pack again. Tomorrow we leave for Florida! Well I didn't have time to scrapbook any of my pictures from Iowa but we had a blast! We went to a whole bunch of concerts, including Big and Rich, Josh Turner, Gretchen Wilson, Poison, and Chris Cagle. Pretty much it was a concert every night we were there. I was surprised how much Jaylee loved to shake her booty. Jaylee really loved being spoiled the whole time by my family. I was able to read two books Twilight and New Moon. I recommend them to anyone who enjoys a good love story/suspense. It really only took me two days to read them both! So i really enjoyed them. On Thursday I had my first Dr. appt. and everything looks good! The baby has a normal heart rate and that's about it. When we get back from Florida I will try to catch up on some of the fun we had in Iowa!

Pool Party

Oh, yeah baby.... We went to a pool party on Saturday with some of our friends and the kids had such a good time!!!! And to be honest I think the adults had as much fun if not more than the kids! It's awesome having such fun friends, it makes life so much fun. Ofcourse when there is a baby around Jaylee has to hold him, Jaylee loves baby Brenner, I mean look how cute he is! Who wouldn't love those chubby cheeks.

Oh...and to those of you who didn't get what the baby counter was on the side...I am pregnant!! We thought it would be funny to see how many people could put the two together, to those of you who did congratulations. To those of you who haven't this email is for you. It is still early in the pregnancy so we are praying that everything goes well and we are able to have a healthy baby.

Malibu

Malibu was fun... It was a beautiful beach, except it was super steep so the waves peaked almost right on the beach!!! So we had to hold Jaylee the whole time otherwise she could have been washed away, they were that strong. It was still super fun, we all had a great time!! I even buried Jaylee and made her a mermaid...I'm pretty sure I forced her to do it though. She loved the anticipation of waiting for the waves to crash up on the beach. It seriously cracked her up. She also really loved chasing the seagulls around. All around we had an amazing little trip.

Vogue

Jaylee LOVES to play dress up!!! Here she is trying my swim suit out!! And look at the picture on the left she is totally vogueing. Then the second picture she looked back at her dad and was said "oh cute!!" about herself!!!! The third picture really gives you a good idea that she totally thinks that she is IT and well I guess I'll have to be honest she is!

California here we come....

Jaylee is seriously such a trooper!!! We were home not even a week from St.George when we decided to head to Cali. She is beginning to realize that when we get in the car we are going somewhere fun, so she doesn't fuss very much any more! Plus she loves watching the "ohhh, big trucks" or we like to call them big rigs. Well we went to CA to go see Mark's sister because she just had her baby...and she is such a cute baby!! But I thought this picture really showed Jaylee's true colors...all decked out with matching sunglasses, she is definitely high maintenance.

Waiting

Look how cute Jaylee is with her new baby cousin!!!! Alyssa is beautiful!!! And when we told Jaylee that she was going to get a baby she thought that we were going to take Alyssa home...she was a little disappointed when we got in the car with no baby! Well and yesterday we went to Malibu Beach and it was beautiful....I am seriously a beach girl, everything about it the smell and the sound oh I just love it. So this has been a really exciting road trip, one we will never forget!

Update

Life is going great...like always. Seriously I feel so blessed we seriously have such a great family and never have anything important that we should complain about. Jaylee has wonderful Grandparents on both sides and is completely spoiled by all of them. Anyways Jaylee is doing awesome she threw away all of her Binkys, that was a big step! She also pees in the potty about twice a day on her own!!! I am not pushing her at all just because we have a couple big trips coming up and I don't want the added stress. Mark just took his Medical Boards, so that is a huge load off his shoulders!!! We don't find out if he passed for a month. For those of you who know him all have no doubt that he passed because he is so dedicated and smart!!! How I lucked out to find him is another story! I have been taking classes online and finished two this month...I haven't received a grade yet. And my mother in-law has completely domesticated me and now I sew for fun...Well that's about it!

Dare-Devil

Yep that is Jaylee being catapulted out of Uncle Greg's arms!!! And she loved it... seriously my daughter is quite the dare devil. But all good things come to an end, or a face plant into the water, but she was still brave and didn't cry she just kept saying "towel and done" over and over!! I thought this picture was so funny make sure to check out Greg's face....

TrAnSfOrMeRs

Mark wanted to go see this movie and I didn't, at all!! I seriously complained the whole way to the movie theatre. Well it actually turned out awesome!!!! These are my two favorite transformers!!!!

Sign Me Up.....

.....On a bowling League!!!!! Jaylee has found herself a new hobby. She went bowling for the first time the other day and loved it! I didn't even know that they had a ball that small, well for the record they do. Although Mark did have to give the ball a small push so that it would make it down the lane, it was still a blast!!!

Happy Birthday Dad

Well yesterday was Mark's Birthday!!!! He totally got spoiled too! Breakfast in bed, his favorite dinner(4lbs of snow crab and an artichoke) and then got a little tickling....for those of you who don't know my husband at all he loves no I mean loves his back tickled!! And it was the cutest thing because all day Jaylee would say Happy Birthday Dad and then ten minutes later Happy Birthday Dad, she even sang him happy birthday when we brought out the cupcake, what more could you ask for!!!! I hope you had a good day honey!!!! We love you and want you yo know what a good dad you are!!!

Watching Fireworks

Here is the end result of a long hard day of playing, a bink!!! So to get Jaylee not crying I had to plug up her mouth. She was so tired by the time we watched fireworks that all she wanted to do was sleep. She did enjoy them though, she would scream ohhh for the really big ones. I just want to say how grateful I am to live in a free country and be able to do everything that we are able to do. I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful family and friends. We love you all.

Cheerleader?

Well she definitely has the personality to be a cheerleader and now she has the look, thanks to my cousin Karly!! I just wanted everyone to see how flippin' cute she looked in her 4th outfit!!

A little Behind

So I am not completely lazy, just busy!!! Well I haven't had time to scrapbook so here is the lazy way. My family was in town about a week ago and we had a great time. Jaylee seriously misses all of the attention. So here are some of the fun pictures from their visit. Just the Girls

This is Jaylee and her second cousin Addie... We stayed with them while we were in Provo, Ut. It was seriously so fun because the girls are only 3 months apart and did a great job of entertaining each other. Although they did get into a lot of mischief...but that's just a girl thing! We are always so happy when we get the opportunity to hang with family. Just look how friggin cute the two of them are....seriously.

Our lil' Buck-A-Roo

Our cousin's friend has a one month old pony that we got to go see. It was so cool...I have never been that close to a baby pony before. And out little animal lover loved it. Jaylee actually preferred the bigger horses... It was so much fun...thanks Karly

Aquarium

We went to the Aquarium in Salt Lake and it was a blast. Jaylee really enjoyed running around and looking at all the different animals. Her favorite part was petting the sting rays, it was hysterical every time they would swim under her hand she would scream so loud...and then everyone in the aquarium would start crackin up. It was really fun.

My New Friend

This is my best friend Brittany's little boy Bridger. How freakin cute is he?? Well Jaylee loved him she fed him and burped him and when he would cry she would look for his bink and then put it in his mouth. What a little mom....It was so fun to watch her nurture him like he was her baby.

I need to Cool Off

After the concert we decided to walk down and watch the water show, watch being the key term!!! Jaylee decided that after being outside for 45 minutes in the scorching hot Arizona heat, that she need to cool herself off in the fountain. Well when she finally got her shoes off and then creeped up to the edge I decide I should probably put down my camera and grab her! Who could blame her I wanted to get in myself!!!!

Matt Lienart

So I also saw Matt Lienart, too!!! And who doesn't love to see a hot pro-football player? It's not a great picture but it's him!!!!

JoRdIn SpArKs!!!!!!!

Okay so I was so excited that I had to come home and immediately post this....So I am a major Idol fan and especially for my girl Jordin b/c she is from Glendale and all (although I still love Blake!) But we had the opportunity to hear Jordin live today and she was literally amazing, Jaylee LOVED it, she started dancing as soon as Jordin started singing. Besides the fact that we were under a major heat advisory, oh b/c it was only like 102 today, it was so fun.

Hooray so today is a day to celebrate. Jaylee has peed in the potty two times all on her own this morning!!! I am seriously so stoked!!

westgate

Here is our little princess playing in the water...It was so cold and windy that day so she would run up to the water, and then run back to us and this went on for quite awhile. It was so fun there because they had a live band playing so Mark and I kind of had a date while Jaylee played. Seriously the we have the best time watching her play.

Mini Bellagio

So my friend told me about this cute place. It is an outdoor mall and it has a mini bellagio water show. We appreciate any free fun we can get!!! Jaylee loved it, I really thought at one point she was gonna dive in!!!

Just Hangin" Out

So we were just hangin out and watching daddy dig up some of our bushes, they seriously get so out of hand that we decided best to get rid of them. I have truly come to appreciate profile shots, 6,000 pictures later Jaylee no longer looks at the camera. Lucky for me she has a beautiful profile.

Learnin 2 Ride

Jaylee loves, no I mean LOVES her swing set! She swings and climbs on it practically all day. Which makes my life a little easier. And now she likes to go on her belly and spin around in circles and then let loose and fly back around!!! It makes me dizzy just watching her!

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes

Okay, Jaylee is seriously all girl. She loves to wear my high heels around the house she just thinks she is a princess. But it has been so fun recently because she is all in to makeup, purses and oh don't forget pretties(bracelets). Oh, and all the drama of a girl came with this new stage!!! I think she looks pretty freakin cute though. She does have a new favorite word "DUDE" um, doesn't sound like her mom at all!!! She is my mini me, kinda scary.

Bag Lady

My mom got Jaylee like four bags for Easter, so she has had a hard time deciding which one to carry around....you can see how overwhelmed she is pretty well in this picture!!! But she is totally going to be one of those kids that packs a bag everywhere, it has already began.

LULU

Meet Lucy ( Jaylee says lulu). She is my friends HUGE black lab, the picture really doesn't do her justice. Jaylee fell in love with her the minute she came over. We had her for a week and when her parents came and picked her up Jaylee screamed out the screen door "lulu, lulu" Seriously it was stupid cute!!!!!!!
