It's Snowing

For most places around the country this is normal, but St. George rarely gets snow and it has snowed a few times this year! So of course the kids had a blast playing outside trying to catch the snow in there mouths. 12-2008

I look at these pictures and can just remember the feelings I get every time Jaylee asks to hold her little brother. Jaylee has such a wonderful little spirit! She is so caring and compassionate I just feel so lucky to have them!

Her Comes Santa Claus...

Right down Santa Claus way... Grandma Pi put a lot of effort into throwing a WONDERFUL Christmas party. She had Santa come, we made gingerbread houses, gingerbread cookies and got a gingerbread pillow case, oh the theme ways gingerbread men! The kids and grown kids all had a great time. I love the ciaos of having all the family together at one time!!! It was amazing all the work that she put into it! We are so grateful to have such a wonderful family who loves us!

Kiddos

These two are pretty much inseparable when they are at home. I am really surprised how Brecken constantly follows Jaylee and wants to be with her. I am also surprised that Jaylee is so loving and constantly plays with him!

Brecken's Girl

This is Brecken and his little girlfriend, Addie, ahe is my best friend Sheri's baby. They are super funny together b/c she usually gets all excited and hits him and he just takes it. 12-2008

Building Blocks

Jaylee was so proud of how many blocks she could stack up and just about as she would add another on little sparky,Brecken, would come knock them down. It would make her so mad but then she got over it and it became a fun game. 12-2008

Pooped

After we got home from the Temple lights Jaylee was pooped!!! She just crashed out on the couch. She never does this, I was able to move her from the couch to her bed without waking her up, I couldn't believe it!

Mesa Temple Lights

The kids really loved the nativity.

Our family tradition, we have gone to see the lights every year. It is so wonderful to go to the Temple and see all the people that come to look at the lights. They do such a wonderful job, they have this huge nativity that is just beautiful all the kids love it. It was super special this year because we went with Matthew, Jess, Chaser and Tally so it was a really neat experience to share such a wonderful moment with family. Although it definitely had it's crazy moments trying to keep up with the kids! I will miss this tradition. We usually go to Glendale Glitters and the Zoo lights as well but after being gone for 4 months and then only being home 2.5 weeks before we were leaving for Utah we just didn't have the time, it was kinda sad. 12-2008

I love,love,love sun rays like this. I feel like heaven must be a little something like this! Honestly I feel like the heavens are opening up and letting us take a small glimpse of what is going on. I just love it when you are able to see the sun rays like this is gives me such a peaceful feeling inside.

Brecken's First Hair cut

I was so worried that this day was going to come...I love his red baby hair. Mark had mentioned several times that he thought we should cut it, but I was able to hold him off for awhile. Then one day Matthew (Twinner) was over and he has had lots of experience b/c he has a three year old boy and they decided it was time! Good Bye baby locks! I was worried the red would get cut off but it is still strong!!!

Waiting for Daddy

I have a picture of Jaylee almost the same age doing this exact same thing. The kids love when the door is open and they can go watch everything from it. Oh and the dress that Jaylee is wearing is her new favorite, so she wears it just about everyday, gross I know but I would rather let her wear it than fight to wash it everyday!

Chubba Chubba Cheeks

"Hey big boy, where's your chubba chubba cheeks!!" "Oh here's your chubba chubba cheeks!" Jaylee said this to Brecken forever and one would laugh and then the other would laugh and it was a cycle over and over until I think they ran out of laughter! I feel so blessed to have both of them and Jaylee has truly been such a wonderful big sister!! Whenever Brecken wakes up from a nap or sleep time he immediately looks for her, you can see in him how much he loves her!

Reading Time

It's the simple moments of the day that bring the most peace and happiness to me! Story time is one of those times! Each night before the kids go to bed we read at least one story. It's funny b/c every now and then I wonder if they will remember these moments, and how wonderful that they are!

Our Christmas Tree

Trimming Up the Tree

Jaylee obviously has a few favorite ornaments they include the peace dove, a snowman, her hand print and a train!!! I think by the time we took the tree down all of the ornaments on the lower half had found new homes..all bunched up together! She really loved helping as you can see!!! Each ornament got a huge just like that one! Brecken was kinda funny too, he was obsessed with the red shiny balls! Oh and we obviously didn't get all dressed up to put up the tree and if we don't go out into public Jaylee dresses herself.

Hello Christmas... I love Christmas not just the actual day but the WHOLE month and then some!! I love how people act around Christmas everyone seems to be more mindful of one another and people are just happy from the spirit that Christmas brings! I also love Christmas decorations!!!! I would leave them up all year if Mark would let me! 12-2008

One day Jay walks up to me and says "Hey mom look at what I can do!" Of course I laughed at her and now she does it all the time....I think that soon she may become permanently cross-eyed! 12-2008

Favorite Moments

These are the moments in my life that I sit back and cherish. I love these silly moments that all of us are just being us... It seems like sometimes it is so easy to let the stresses of the world get to us but the happiness of my family is the greatest joy that there is! We wrestle just about every single night before we lay the kids down, it is for sure Jaylee's favorite time of the day b/c we are all together as a family!
