The Big Spaghetti Dinner

Our Church had a big spaghetti dinner, and the MEN where in charge of it!  WE auctioned off food for a fundraiser for our boy scouts, there was a talent show and dinner!  It was so fun we have so many talented people in our ward!  It was AWESOME.

This is my friend Camille's Tap Class.. All of these little ones are members!  Aren't they so cute.  The kids did the cutest little number it was so funny!  Jaylee was pretty much staring at her future husband the whole time!

 This was my "carrot" cake...the dinner was right before Easter so it made much more sense!  This was the easiest thing ever to make! You buy a frozen pound cake and cut the sides at an angle and "glue" with frosting the two sides that you cut off together to make the point, then frost and cover with orange candy!  I used Reese's pieces you could use jelly beans whatever!  It was pretty fun.

 Bryneee and Peter..  She loves men!  Especially ones that will hold her and snuggle her.

 A few little girls did this little dance and then had everyone join in, it was hysterical people where fist pumping..I am sure they didn't realize what they were doing but it was to dye for.

Chubby Cheeks

OHHHH I LOVE LOVE LOVE her Chubs.  This is her growly smile..she a is like an animal and about to do something naughty!

How Gross!!

Ok so the best part is...I had already hosed him down and got most of the dirt off!  Wow, this boy LOVES mud!  I can't keep him away from dirt..or water..or mixing them together.  I think it's gonna be a LONG summer.

Goodbye Ben

This was one of Marks young men, Mark actually ate at his Grandma's house when he was on his mission! Crazy!  Ben is such a wonderful young man that is going to be a wonderful Missionary and we will all miss him!

Jaylee's Talk

Jaylee gave a talk in Church on the 3rd Article of Faith:  We believe that through the atonement of Christ all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.  This was such a fun talk because Jaylee really understood the topic.  I had her sit down with me and explain each word and what it meant, and she knew!  It was awesome a very proud moment.  This girl is a sponge she retains so much information I love it.  So then she wrote what her testimony was of this particular article of faith and what it meant to her in her own words and that was her talk.  It was so cute to watch her do this and then to stand on the podium and let her read it.  It was a heart melting experience.

The Easter Bunny

Yes I am still that far behind...This was the Saturday that we took the kids to the mall to see the Easter Bunny.  Then we stopped by our favorite ice cream shop Four Queens!  It was one of those laid back days where you feel like you don't have a care in the world.

Batter UP

I have mentioned that we have the funnest neighbors ever!  I am so glad that their grand kids share them with us!  They had their 3 boys over for a day and let us come play ball with them! It was so fun.  The girls were the "cheerleaders"  it was so cute.  I truly don't think I will ever be able to express how blessed we feel to have them as friends!

Gone Fishin'

Mark had been dying since last summer to go fishing again.  The minute it warmed up he bought his license and took us fishing.  Brecken didn't last long, he enjoyed throwing it out and reeling it in.  Jaylee was super disappointed that she didn't catch anything, but was really excited to be fishing with a big pole! I ran around trying to keep Bryn from running in the water!  We got to have a yummy picnic lunch by the lake and watch Mark be all serious about catching some Trout!  It was a great time.  At the end of the trip Marks says "Well it's not very relaxing to fish with the kids!"  Then on our way home people were honking at us and we couldn't figure out why, well Mark left the tackle box on our bumper!  By the time we could pull over it was a lost cause..but a good Father's Day idea!

My Boy

Meet Brecken.. He is a very fun loving child!  He loves:

Marshmallows

He is a very active young child who has a very curious mind, that frequently gets him into trouble!  But yet he is the most lovable fun boy ever.  I love when he says "You snuggle me"  seriously in his little voice it's so cute!





The Trike of all Trikes!

Pat and Wayne got this little trike for Brecken for Christmas and he just LOVES it!  Seriously he rides it all around everywhere!  It is so cute when he throws on his rain boots and then just takes off down our driveway!  Coolest bike ever!  Good call!

Park Time

Wayne was so cute climbing all around in the playhouse! I love how much the Grandparents love to interact with our kids.  Pat chased MJ around trying to get him to look at the camera!  It was so funny to watch.  Jaylee was able to show off all of her cool skills like the monkey bars, swings and running like mad.

I love when I have extra hands at a big park!  That way when they all run into separate directions we all take a kid!  Much easier!  We had a really fun day at the park and then went and got yummy cupcakes from Scratch.

Fun with Grandma and Pie

 The kids have so much fun with their grandparents!  They get extra snuggles...and pretty much whatever they want!  Grandma had fun waiting with Jaylee for the bus, and JJ was so excited for her to see her cool bus!  I love those special moments of everyday life.

 They got books read to them every night by Grandma and Pie..which I found out is way more exciting than when we read to them.  We read books every night, but they wear soooo excited to have their grandparents read them their stories and tuck them in!

Glee Time Baby..

Mark's parents came back in March and we had a lot of fun.  One night we played Glee forever.  It was so fun, we were never able to get Wayne to pick up the microphone but that would've been an awesome sight!  Mark was competitive as ever and had to beat my score at everything...and he did!  GRRRRR.  He is good at everything I swear!  It's just not fair, I just hope our kids get that gene!

Sunday's

We have Church at 1pm now..Let me tell you that is such a hard time with my kids!  So I can't really get them dressed until after they have had lunch otherwise we end up changing again! So this happened to be one of the few Sundays that everything went smoothly.  Everyone ate one time and we had a few extra minutes to kill before leaving, JJ thought it would be funny to run with Bryn up and down the hall.  Oh and she was right it was HYSTERICAL!  They both loved it.  Then Brecken decided he needed a turn!  So we spent our extra time watching the kids play together and have a great time together.  It was one of those Mom moments when you sit back and say Wow I really LOVE my job.

 I love this because you can just see how much Brecken adores Jaylee.

 I love love love when these two are getting a long.  It's usually Brecken wants to play with her and she doesn't want anything to do with him.  So I treasure these moments dearly.

 My little girl is growing up so fast.  It's like overnight she has become this beautiful grown up girl.
